About The Author
Base Pair (bp)
Two nucleotides that are in different strands of a given nucleic acid molecule (DNA or RNA) and whose bases pair (interact) by hydrogen bonding. In DNA, the nucleotide bases are adenine (which pairs with thymine) and guanine (which pairs with cytosine).

In RNA, the nucleotide bases are adenine (which pairs with uracil) and guanine (which pairs with cytosine).

DEOXYRIBONUCLEIC ACID (DNA),  NUCLEOTIDE,  GENETIC CODE,  INFORMATIONAL MOLECULES,  RIBONUCLEIC ACID (RNA),  HYDROGEN BONDING
